What We Do

01

Home EV Charger Installation

This is what we do every day. As a Tesla Certified, ChargePoint Certified installer and Qmerit Partner, we install home EV chargers the right way, to manufacturer spec, code-compliant, and tested before we leave. Tesla Wall Connectors, Level 2 chargers for any EV, or a NEMA 14-50 outlet if you'd rather plug in your mobile connector. Indoor, garage, or outdoor.

Level 2 charging runs on 240V and charges 5 to 8x faster than a standard household outlet. Whether you drive a Tesla, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Chevy Equinox EV, Toyota bZ, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Rivian, BMW, or anything else, we'll get you set up. Outdoor installs use weatherproof-rated equipment and conduit built to hold up through Central PA winters.

What We Install

  • Tesla Wall Connector (Tesla Certified)
  • Level 2 chargers for all EV brands
  • NEMA 14-50 outlets
  • Indoor, garage & outdoor setups
  • Dedicated 60A circuit (48A continuous)
  • Code-compliant wiring & final testing
  • Permit assistance if needed

02

Chargers We Install

You don't have to figure out the charger market alone. These are the chargers we install most often across Central PA.

The Lineup

Tesla Wall Connector

The factory-spec choice for Tesla owners, installed by a Tesla Certified electrician.

Tesla Universal Wall Connector

One charger for every EV, Tesla or not, with the built-in J1772 adapter.

ChargePoint Home Flex

Smart scheduling and app control, installed ChargePoint Certified.

Grizzl-E

Rugged and simple, a favorite for outdoor installs that face real PA winters.

Emporia Pro & Classic

Strong value, and they pair with Emporia's circuit-level energy monitoring.

NEMA 14-50 Outlet

The plug-in route for mobile connectors and portable Level 2 units.

A word on outlets and no-name gear: an EV pulls high power for hours at a time, and that's where cheap hardware shows itself. Budget NEMA 14-50 receptacles are a known weak point: some have a history of overheating under continuous EV charging, and the same goes for some off-the-shelf chargers. Use a trusted, heavy-duty brand, not just whatever's cheapest on the shelf. Not sure about a unit? Bring it up during the estimate and you'll get a straight answer.

03

Panels, Load Checks & Energy Monitors

Every EV charger estimate includes a free panel assessment: a capacity review, a load calculation, and a straight answer on whether your panel can take a Level 2 circuit. Most can. When one can't, we handle the upgrade ourselves, so you only ever need one contractor.

Pricing

What it costs

Two sides to what we do: predictable EV charger installs, and home electrical work quoted to the job. Either way, you get a clear, upfront number before we start.

EV Charger Installation

Most installs are predictable and fall into one of two tiers.

Standard Install

$500 – $1,200

Most indoor and garage installs. Labor and materials included. One-day turnaround in most cases.

Outdoor / Detached / Complex

$1,200 – $2,200+

Detached garages, outdoor locations, long or complex conduit runs. Final price depends on scope of work.

Charger not included, bring your own or we're happy to source one for you.

Home & Residential Electrical

Everyday electrical work is quoted to the job, and most jobs run a few hundred dollars, not thousands. See residential electrical →

Clear, upfront quote before any work begins. No surprises, no pressure.

See it done

→ Tesla Wall Connector in Bellefonte: 60A through the open basement, same-afternoon charging → NEMA 14-50 in Hawk Run: trenched underground run to a detached garage → Customer-supplied Emporia charger in Park Forest: 35-foot ceiling conduit, post mount → ChargePoint Home Flex in State College: exterior mount, routed through the attic All case studies →

Permits

What about permits?

Some projects need a township permit, some don't, depending on where you live and what we're doing. When yours does, I handle the whole process: filing the application, pulling the permit, doing the work, and scheduling the inspection. Your only job is to be home when the inspector comes by.
