Who We Are
Todd Sievers, Owner & Electrician
I've been in the electrical trade since 2008. I got my start in commercial electrical, but I was always more interested in the residential side of the trade, so I went to work for a friend who ran a residential electrical company. When he sold to a larger outfit, we both stayed on and ran its electrical division for a few years.
In 2021 I struck out on my own and started Steel Fox EV & Electric. I got into EV charging early, because I could see the demand coming and there weren't many electricians around here doing it properly yet. But EV was never the whole story. I'm a licensed residential electrician first, and Steel Fox covers both sides: charger installs and the everyday electrical work homes need, from panel upgrades and wiring to lighting and troubleshooting.
I'm not a big box contractor juggling dozens of jobs. When you hire Steel Fox, you get me, and my wife, who answers the phone and keeps things running behind the scenes. We treat every customer the way we'd want to be treated.
That approach hasn't changed since day one.
The Name
My parents almost named me Steel. They liked it but went another direction. I always liked it too. And Fox? That's the Middle English meaning of the name Todd. Put them together and it felt right: sharp, solid, and built from something real.
